The start of this event was delayed by 4 minutes to allow for the veterinary surgeon to examine the greyhound Gallant Toby.
Gallant Toby - Late scratching at the boxes at 17:21 on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to injuries to the left monkey muscle and left fore toe. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Zambora Lou, Aston Pilsner and Kraken Penny's collided approaching the home turn checking Kraken Pennys. Aston Pilsner and Brylee collided on the first turn. Zambora Lou and Gotham Duke collided on the first turn.
