Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Rotate.
Aston Genesis was quick to begin.
Tiger's Crest, Rotate and Illicit collided soon after the start. Appalachian and Showboart Capers collided soon after the start. Appalachian and Tiger's Crest collided on the first turn. Illicit galloped on the heels of Rotate on the first turn, checking Rotate. Illicit and Rotate collided several times approaching the home turn.
Rotate underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left foreleg abraded webbing and right foreleg monkey muscle injuries. A three day stand down period was imposed.
