A pre-race sample was taken from Muza's Gift.
Muza's Gift was quick to begin.
Gojek, Aston Truffle and Meraki collided approaching Gojek and severely checking Meraki. Fairytale Ending, Aston Truffle and Bobby Ray collided approaching the home turn checking Fairytale Ending and Heidi Intention. Gojek and Heidi Intention collided on the home turn.
Mrs Yvonne Andrews requested that Muza's Gift undergo a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right wrist sprain injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
