Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings and wore face-masks/covers that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Fernando Bull was quick to begin.  Josef Moses Rose was slow to begin.  Carnivore was checked off Aston Odyssey on the first turn.  Aston Odyssey and On The Duck collided on the first turn checking Josef Moses Rose and severely checking Aston Odyssey.  Josef Moses Rose raced wide in the home straight.

Karen's Word, Auspicious Lady, Miss Demonica and Waipahu were slow to begin.  Swedish Duchess, Karen's Word and Token Lilly collided soon after the start checking Karen's Word and Auspicious Lady.  Miss Demonica crossed in approaching the first turn checking Swedish Duchess and Token Lilly.

Even Keats was slow to begin.  Chase The Magic crossed in approaching the first turn checking Got The Torque and My Dad Baz.  Token Supreme was checked off Even Keats on the home turn.  My Dad Baz was checked off Even Keats entering the home straight.  Token Supreme raced wide in the home straight.

Aussie Secret and Fascinate Candy were quick to begin.  Affair Bit and Tribal collided soon after the start.  All's Grand was checked off Tiger Titan approaching the first turn severely checking Tiger Titan.  Zipping Bates was checked off All's Grand on the home turn checking Zipping Bates.  Tribal and Tiger Titan raced wide in the home straight.

He Shall Blitz and Spun Out were slow to begin.  Sneaky Mojo and Spun Out crossed to the outside soon after the start and raced wide.  He Shall Blitz clipped the heels of Muza's Angel on the first turn checking He Shall Blitz.  He Shall Blitz and Spun Out collided approaching the home turn and again entering the home straight.  He Shall Blitz crossed out and raced wide in the home straight.  Spun Out and Sneaky Mojo raced wide in the home straight.  Sneaky Mojo and He Shall Blitz collided approaching the winning post.

Butternut was quick to begin.  Summer Girl and Uncle Drew collided soon after the start.  Dundee Ace and Summer Girl collided approaching the first turn.  Talk Talk Talk was checked off Rall's Girl on the first turn.  Talk Talk Talk was checked off Summer Girl on the home turn.  Sovereign Wind turned its head to the outside in the home straight and collided with Butternut. Uncle Drew raced wide in the home straight.

Sovereign Wind underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left metacarpal.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. D. Douch regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Sovereign Wind was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Douch pleaded guilty to the charge, Sovereign Wind must perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Top Faith - Late scratching at 6.03pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer  Mr. B.Mackie was fined $100.

Gotham Duke underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right pencil muscle and left metacarpal.  A 14 day  stand down period was imposed.

Seve Rose and Rock And Roll were slow to begin.

Lektra Scooter was quick to begin.  Keeping Faith and Superior Jacob were slow to begin.  Rizzo was checked off Lektra Scooter approaching the first turn.  Pack Of Jokers and Rizzo collided on the first turn checking Pack Of Jokers, Rizzo and Elope To Paris.  Keeping Faith galloped on Zipping Django approaching the home turn.  Elope To Paris and Superior Jacob colided in the home straight. Lektra Scooter and Harper's Girl collided in the home straight.  Superior Jacob turned its head inwards approaching the winning post.

Superior Jacob underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound a left hind toe and seroma on both elbows.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mr. D. Condon regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1) Superior Jacob was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Condon pleaded guilty to the charge, Superior Jacob must perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Thandie Bale was quick to begin.  Leo Rose was slow to begin.  Busy Time and Gellar Bale collided on the first turn.  Thandie Bale and William Rose collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.
