Steward's Report
Go The Doves - Late scratching at 11.16am on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a laceration to the left stifle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Financial Tarra – New declared weight of 27.9kg, last raced at 26.4kg.
Thursday Thunder was quick to begin. Where's Ali faltered and lost ground approaching the home turn. Financial Tarra galloped on My Girl Sal approaching the home turn checking My Girl Sal.
Where's Ali underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr Arend Gringhuis, the trainer of the greyhound Where's Ali. Acting under GAR 75(1) Stewards ordered Mr Gringhuis to report as soon as practicable anything that may affected the running of Where's Ali in the event which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
A post-race sample was taken from Financial Tarra - the winner of the event.
