Steward's Report
Bejarano was slow to begin. Speedy Bella, Splinter, Spolly's Buddy and Buddy Blinx collided on the first turn checking Splinter and Spolly's Buddy. Speedy Bella and Thistle Rock collided in the back straight. Buddy Blinx and Speedy Bella collided in the back straight checking Speedy Bella. Bejarano and Thistle Rock collided on the second turn. Samp De Keats and Bejarano collided on the home turn. Buddy Blinx was checked off Line Trike entering the home straight.
Line Trike underwent a post race veterinary examination after an incident in the catching pen and was found to have a bite wound to the left thigh. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Grice the trainer of Buddy Blinx following an incident in the catching pen and directed that Buddy Blinx must wear an anti aggression muzzle in future events.
Stewards spoke to Mr. A. Andrews regarding an incident in the catching pen and charged him with engaging in conduct detrimental to the image and control of greyhound racing pursuant to GAR 86(q). Mr. Andrews was fined $100.
