Steward's Report
Six And Out and Midnight Marzy were slow to begin.
Quarantined and Sweet About Lily collided soon after the start. Six And Out crossed to the outside at the 250m mark checking Midnight Marzy. Quarantined, Sweet About Lily and Wolfie's Swagger collided at the 200m mark.
A post-race sample was taken from Dimensional - the winner of the event.
Mr Christopher Tilley was found guilty of an offence pursuant to GAR 48 in that he did fail to engage a catcher for his greyhound Dimensional in this event. In determining penalty stewards took into consideration Mr Tilley's unblemished record with regards to similar offences. Mr Tilley was fined $50.00.
Mr Paul Ellul was found guilty of an offence pursuant to GAR 86(q) after he committed an act that was detrimental to the welfare and control of greyhound racing in that after boxing the greyhound Laxman he re-entered the track without permission, crossed the track and stepped over the running rail directly behind the lure. This incident delayed the commencement of the event. Mr Ellul was fined $350.00.
