Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Starter R. Glass did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.
A pre-race sample was taken from Saint Burner.
Saint Burner and McIvor Bluey were slow to begin. Op Shop, Midnight Bling and Kraken Johnny collided approaching the first turn. My Mascara, All Of Us and Charmed collided on the first turn. Midnight Bling and Op Shop collided on the first turn. Saint Burner and Op Shop collided approaching the home turn severely checking Op Shop which fell. All Of Us and Kraken Johnny collided on the home turn. Midnight Bling and McIvor Bluey collided on the home turn. All Of Us and Kraken Johnny collided entering the home straight.
Op Shop underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a suspected distal humerus fracture/dislocated elbow. A stand down period of 90 days was imposed.
Stewards inspected the track following the event and deemed it safe.
