Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Betatron, People Get Ready and Outrageous Ester collided soon after the start. Mustang Havoc galloped on the heels of Betatron approaching the first turn. Betatron galloped on the heels of Bella Tash on the first turn severely checking Bella Tash and checking Create A Scene. Betatron and Outrageous Ester collided approaching the home turn. Mustang Havoc raced wide on the home turn.

Bella Tash underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have minor neck soreness. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Market Jack – New declared weight of 30.3kg, last raced at 29.0kg.

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing for Patricia Mary with Representative Mr. Jordan Formosa and noted his comments.

Follow The Que, Low Planes, Sweet Antares and Rhonda's Delight collided on the first turn checking Follow The Que and Low Planes. McIvor Stretch galloped on the heels of Wishly Bale on the first turn checking McIvor Stretch. Follow The Cue clipped the heels of Sweet Antares in the home straight.

McIvor Stretch underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have minor abrasions to the left and right hind paws. No stand down period was imposed.

Garage Sale underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

Op Shop underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a suspected distal humerus fracture/dislocated elbow. A stand down period of 90 days was imposed.

Stewards inspected the track following the event and deemed it safe.
