Steward's Report
Eastern Faith – Late scratching at 2:36pm due to non-arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Mr Brett Mackie informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown on-route to the track. Stewards have advised Mr Mackie that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 48 hours of the occurrence that caused the non-arrival. The matter will be re-evaluated upon receipt of this evidence.
A pre-race sample was taken from Hurricane Red.
Parumba Barcia and Aquileia were slow to begin. Hurricane Red and Thistle Rock collided approaching the first turn. Hurricane Red, Shot Gun Pistol and Fab Creates collided on the first turn checking Fab Creates, Shot Gun Pistol, Parumba Barcia and Thistle Rock. Parumba Barcia was checked off Hurricane Red approaching the home turn. Thistle Rock raced wide on the home turn.
