Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Hurricane Miss shifted out soon after the start checking Tribal and Mountain Goat.  Percy's Legacy crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Hurricane Miss, Tribal, Bomber's Smokey and Burn Your Name.  Burn Your Name and Ruby's Legacy collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Burn Your Name and Bomber's Smokey collided approaching the home turn.  Hurricane Miss raced wide on the home turn.  Ruby's Legacy crossed to the outside on the home turn and collided with Hurricane Miss.

Celebrity was quick to begin.  Armani Arby was slow to begin.  Texas Metal and Zipping Django collided on the first turn checking Texas Metal. Blazing Strings, Celebrity and Flywheel Frankey collided entering the home straight checking Flywheel Frankey and severely checking Black Panda and Celebrity.

Pack Of Jokers was slow to begin.  Rafael Fever and Sheer Bliss collided approaching the first turn checking Sheer. Bliss; Zipping Whoopi clipped the heels of Sheer Bliss as a result.  Lights Action crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Rafael Fever, Minter Fly and Pack Of Jokers.  Eureka Icon and Magic Voyage collided on the first turn checking Magic Voyage and Zipping Whoopi.  Rafael Fever galloped on Lights Action on the first turn checking Lights Action.  Sheer Bliss and Zipping Whoopi collided entering the home straight.

Yellowtail Bear was quick to begin.  Smooth Talker, Star Ballerina and Mac's A Million were slow to begin.  Smooth Talker was checked off Yellowtail Bear entering the back straight checking Grace Amazing.  Oddjob Lad was checked off Mac's A Million on the third turn.

Grace Amazing underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound on a left front toe.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed

Rebecca Gay was slow to begin.  Serengeti Icon, She Wiggles, Fleck, Diamond Cartel and My Father's Son collided approaching the first turn checking Serengeti Icon.  Fleck and My Father's Son collided on the first turn checking Fleck.  She Wiggles, Fleck and Rebecca Gay collided approaching the second turn checking Fleck and Rebecca Gay.  Diamond Cartel was checked off Lonnie Loot approaching the second turn and collided with Entwined.

Rebecca Gay underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left wrist.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Love Heart was slow to begin.  Nebraska Nell, Whatever I Want and Muza's Angel collided soon after the start.  Lethal Image galloped on Aston Genesis on the first turn checking Aston Genesis, Muza's Angel and Lethal Image.  Lethal Image, Aston Genesis and Muza's Angel collided approaching the home turn checking all three greyhounds.  Muza's Angel and Aston Genesis collided approaching the home turn.

Midnight Storm crossed in soon after the start checking St. Leo, Side Splitting and Verne Bale. Agent Levi was checked off Midnight Storm approaching the first turn checking Just Burning.  St. Leo was checked off  Xenia Bale on the first turn checking Verne Bale.  Side Splitting raced wide on the home turn.

Sawan Sawan was quick to begin.  Love A Talk and Dewana Success collided soon after the start checking Love A Talk.  Dewana Success and Sawan Sawan collided on the first turn.  Busy Time and Loaded collided on the first turn.

Top Faith – Late scratching at 2:35pm due to non-arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Mr Brett Mackie informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown on-route to the track. Stewards have advised Mr Mackie that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 48 hours of the occurrence that caused the non-arrival. The matter will be re-evaluated upon receipt of this evidence. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Goldrush Rose. 

Almapa Berisha and Goldrush Rose collided on the first turn checking Almapa Berisha.  It's A Drama, Perfect Rocky and Lemonade Kid collided on the first turn severely checking Lemonade Kid causing Perfect Rocky to fall.

Perfect Rocky underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left thigh, left wrist and left shoulder muscle.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Speedy Bella and Imminent collided soon after the start and again on the first turn checking Speedy Bella.  Lucky Millie and Thurles Princess collided on the first turn. Speedy Bella galloped on Thurles Princess on the home turn.  Speedy Bella and Catalina Icon collided on the home turn.
