Steward's Report
Top Faith – Late scratching at 2:35pm due to non-arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Mr Brett Mackie informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown on-route to the track. Stewards have advised Mr Mackie that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 48 hours of the occurrence that caused the non-arrival. The matter will be re-evaluated upon receipt of this evidence.
A pre-race sample was taken from Goldrush Rose.
Almapa Berisha and Goldrush Rose collided on the first turn checking Almapa Berisha. It's A Drama, Perfect Rocky and Lemonade Kid collided on the first turn severely checking Lemonade Kid causing Perfect Rocky to fall.
Perfect Rocky underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left thigh, left wrist and left shoulder muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
