Steward's Report
A sample was taken from No Tickles upon arrival at the course.
Next Challenge and Anyone Arby were slow to begin.
Stella Diamond and Snap Decision collided soon after the start. Stella Diamond and Snap Decision collided approaching the 250m mark checking Stella Diamond and All Inn Mia. Next Challenge crossed to the outside approaching the 200m mark. All Inn Mia and Anyone Arby collided at the 150m mark checking Anyone Arby and Armageddon Arby. All Inn Mia visibly eased approaching the winning post. No Tickles and Snap Decision collided approaching the winning post checking Snap Decision and Stella Diamond.
All Inn Mia underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 10. All Inn Mia was found to have an abrasion to the left hind leg, no stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Tony Duncan, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), All Inn Mia was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Duncan pleaded guilty to the charge, All Inn Mia must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
