Next Challenge and Anyone Arby were slow to begin.

Stella Diamond and Snap Decision collided soon after the start.  Stella Diamond and Snap Decision collided approaching the 250m mark checking Stella Diamond and All Inn Mia.  Next Challenge crossed to the outside approaching the 200m mark.  All Inn Mia and Anyone Arby collided at the 150m mark checking Anyone Arby and Armageddon Arby.  All Inn Mia visibly eased approaching the winning post.  No Tickles and Snap Decision collided approaching the winning post checking Snap Decision and Stella Diamond.  

All Inn Mia underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 10.  All Inn Mia was found to have an abrasion to the left hind leg, no stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Tony Duncan, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), All Inn Mia was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Duncan pleaded guilty to the charge, All Inn Mia must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Aaron's Me Boy was slow to begin.

Awesome Arby and Dinkydi Sweetie collided soon after the start checking Dinkydi Sweetie.  Awesome Arby and Run Fast Maximus collided approaching the 200m mark checking Awesome Arby, Run Fast Maximus and Dinkydi Sweetie.  Silver Doo faltered approaching the 150m mark and lost considerable ground.  Blue Larrikin faltered approaching the 100m mark and lost considerable ground.  Awesome Arby checked off Wayward Arrow approaching the winning post.  

Blue Larrikin underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Silver Doo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 6. Silver Doo was found to have shin soreness to the right foreleg. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Eminence Keroma - Late scratching at 10:48am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. Peter Grice was fined $100.

Tennyson Girl - Late scratching at 12:03am due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Prior to the running of this event Stewards inspected the track from the 100m mark to the winning post and deemed it safe for racing.  

The start of this event was rescheduled to jump at 12.20pm to allow track staff time to complete remedial works on the lure. 

Flaming Fabio stumbled at the start.  Aron Allen checked off Dawn To Dusk approaching the 250m mark.  Dawn To Dusk, Springvale Misty and Flaming Fabio collided at the 250m mark checking Springvale Misty.  Zipping Ester and Menzies Avenue collided at the 50m mark. 

Quando Quando and Dale's Jet were slow to begin.

Dale's Jet stumbled soon after the start and subsequently tailed off.  Ha Ha Gotcha crossed to the outside approaching the 250m mark.  Pergamon and Challis Annie collided approaching the 150m mark.  Rhomboid and Challis Annie collided approaching the 50m mark checking Challis Annie.

Dale's Jet underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left back muscle and tenderness in the abdomen. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Pergamon - the winner of the event. 

Flash Fernando – New declared weight of 29.6kg, last raced at 30.7kg.

Mrs. Constance McMillan failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Tinker Bess for racing.  Mrs McMillan was issued a warning pursuant to GAR 46 (2)

Rynell Bale and All Inn Tyler collided approaching the 300m mark.  Meehan Pebbles and Monty Python collided approaching the 250m mark.  Meehan Pebbles and Rynell Bale collided approaching the 200m mark checking Rynell Bale and Western Bomber.  Rynell Bale and All Inn Tyler collided approaching the 150m mark checking both greyhounds.  

Butch Regis – New declared weight of 32.2kg, last raced at 33.6kg.

New Sense and All Inn Fergi were slow to begin.

Butch Regis and All Inn Fergi collided at the 300m mark checking Butch Regis and severely checking All Inn Fergi; All Inn Fergi tailed off as a result.  New Sense and Emilio's Jet collided at the 150m mark.  

Butch Regis underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the right hind paw. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

All Inn Fergi underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to both back muscles. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Lightning Parade was slow to begin.

Big Flash Marjen, Pure White Evil and Lightning Parade collided soon after the start checking Lightning Parade.  Challis Sprite and Sedaka collided approaching the 300m mark.  Challis Sprite, Pure White Evil and Big Flash Marjen collided approaching the 150m mark checking Pure White Evil.  Challis Sprite and Sedaka collided approaching the winning post causing Challis Sprite to gallop on Sedaka; severely checking both greyhounds and causing them to lose ground.  

Sedaka underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right monkey muscle, right hock and spike wounds to the left foreleg. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
