Steward's Report
Agent Ivy and Wild Poppy were slow to begin.
Always There and No Intro collided soon after the start checking No Intro. Retro Reece, Agent Ivy and Wild Poppy collided on the first turn. Agent Ivy and Wild Poppy collided on the first turn checking Wild Poppy. Fab Potion checked off Wild Poppy on the home turn checking Agent Ivy. No Intro and Retro Reece collided in the home straight.
Agent Ivy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 5 and was found to have a right triangle injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr J. Bosnich, regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Agent Ivy was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Bosnich pleaded guilty to the charge, Agent Ivy must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
