Steward's Report
Quick Transition was quick to begin. Bump's Nugget and Aston Squire collided approaching the first turn checking Bump's Nugget. Cornhill Rebel, Aston Squire and Loco Luca collided on the first turn checking Cornhill Rebel, Bump's Nugget and Loco Luca. Lethal Image, Quick Transition and Slick Paws collided on the first turn checking Lethal Image and Slick Paws and severely checking Quick transition which subsequently tailed off. Aston Squire checked off Lethal Image on the home turn checking Slick Paws. Cornhill Rebel checked off Slick Paws on the home turn. Aston Squire and Slick Paws collided approaching the winning post.
Quick Transition underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
