Due to Government Social Distancing Laws under COVID-19 and acting in accordance with GAR 51 (10), the Stewards have directed that the boxing process in Victoria will revert to and continue under the 4-wave model being 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8.  Handlers are required to exit the area after boxing and maintain their 1.5m distance from other handlers and staff at all times.

All persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Braeside underwent a post-race veterinary examination- no apparent injury was reported. 

Silky Rose and Jump The Bar were quick to begin. I'm Poppy and Flying Brae collided soon after the start checking Flying Brae. I'm Poppy and Flying Brae collided approaching the first turn checking Flying Brae. Silky Rose, Jump The Bar, Dashing Daph and Black Miss collided on the first turn checking Black Miss and Dashing Daph. Flying Babe checked off Dashing Daph on the home turn. Silky Rose, Flying Brae and Black Miss raced wide entering the home straight.

Aston Sofia and Aston Select were quick to begin. Aston Coopers and Aston Sofia collided soon after the start checking Aston Coopers and Chillout Chuckie. Rock It Fabio and Aston Sofia collided on the first turn checking Aston Sofia. Aston Sofia raced wide in the home straight.

Grace Amazing and Aston Eureka collided soon after the start checking Aston Eureka. Scott Magic, Grace Amazing and Stareena collided on the first turn checking Scott Magic and severely checking Grace Amazing. 

Quick Transition was quick to begin. Bump's Nugget and Aston Squire collided approaching the first turn checking Bump's Nugget. Cornhill Rebel, Aston Squire and Loco Luca collided on the first turn checking Cornhill Rebel, Bump's Nugget and Loco Luca. Lethal Image, Quick Transition and Slick Paws collided on the first turn checking Lethal Image and Slick Paws and severely checking Quick transition which subsequently tailed off. Aston Squire checked off Lethal Image on the home turn checking Slick Paws. Cornhill Rebel checked off Slick Paws on the home turn. Aston Squire and Slick Paws collided approaching the winning post. 

Quick Transition underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

My Name's George and Prince Mark collided on the first turn checking My Name's George. Know Success and Midnight Titan collided on the first turn checking Know Success. Select Pattern galloped on Midnight Titan on the home turn severely checking Midnight Titan which tailed off as a result. My Name's George checked off Another Vader entering the home straight. 

Midnight Titan underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

My Name's George underwent a post- race veterinary examination and was found to have a left quadriceps muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Coco Baroque stumbled at box rise and lost considerable ground. Hardaway JayJay and Sanjiro collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Pine's Pick checked off Pure Cool Titan on the home turn. What Price raced wide entering the home straight. 

A post-race sample was taken from Mr. Bob - the winner of the event. 

Mr. Daver checked off Our Harriet on the first turn checking Cyclone Arrow and Queue The Music and severely checking Mr. Daver. Our Harriet checked off Text Me Later on the first turn checking Landslide and Nowhere Nathe. Queue The Music and Landslide collided on the home turn. Our Harriet raced wide entering the home straight. 

Short Leash was quick to begin. Scott Something, Gracelands, Bilbo, Hartland Digger and Zambora Andy collided approaching the first turn checking Gracelands, Bilbo and Hartland Digger. Bilbo and Hartland Digger collided on the first turn. Layback Cruiser, Scott Something and Zambora Andy collided on the first turn checking Scott Something. Layback Cruiser and Zambora Andy collided approaching the home turn checking Scott Something, Gracelands and Zambora Andy.

White Grit– New declared weight of 29.0kgs, last raced at 27.7kgs.

Mr. S Stefanos was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound Winlock Homes pursuant to GAR 33.

Bees On Fire and Winlock homes were quick to begin. Haimandy Carl was slow to begin. Jaimandy Jester and White Grit collided approaching the first turn checking White Grit. Bees On Fire, Winlock Homes, Jackie Jai and Jaimandy Carl collided entering the home straight checking all four greyhounds. Chill Out Isa turned it's head outward entering the home straight, 

Bees On Fire underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left radius/ulna fracture. Bees On Fire was humanely euthanased.

Winlock Homes underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Stewards spoke to Mr Michael Chilcott the handler of Chill Out Isa regarding the greyhound's racing manners entering the home straight. Acting on Steward's own observations and taking into consideration the incident that occurred around the greyhound at the time, Stewards gave Chill Out Isa the benefit of the doubt and took no further action on this occassion.
