Steward's Report
Stewards questioned Trainer, Mr D. Jensen regarding the number of starts that Rippy Rascal has had over the past week, today being 3 starts in 7 days. Mr Jensen stated that the greyhound is currently racing well and he has the greyhound checked regularly. Stewards noted Mr. Jensen's explanation.
Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Parade Steward Mr R. Glass did not act in any official capacity that may have in any way, affected the outcome of this event.
Cyclone Jebel was quick to begin. Mad Goosey was slow to begin. Rippy Rascal and Lex's Delight collided soon after the start. Braeside and Mad Goosey collided approaching the first turn. Our Flying Bolt checked off Cyclone Jebel on the first turn. Braeside and My Father's Son collided on the home turn causing Braeside to brush the running rail. Our Flying Bolt and Cullquin Vincent collided entering the home straight. Our Flying Bolt and Mad Goosey collided entering the home straight.
Braeside underwent a post-race veterinary examination- no apparent injury was reported.
