Steward's Report
Windburn was quick to begin. Aston Barney was slow to begin. Gemma Rapid, Quid Pro Quo, Apple Valley and Ruby Arizona collided approaching the first turn checking Quid Pro Quo and Apple Valley. Pyrenees Pegasus, Emma Rapid and Ruby Arizona collided on the first turn checking Gemma Rapid. Gemma Rapid and Sense Of Wonder collided approaching the second turn. Aston Barney and Ruby Arizona collided on the second turn checking Aston Barney which contacted the running rail and lost ground. Quid Pro Quo raced wide in the home straight.
Aston Barney underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left deltoid and right triangle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
