Steward's Report
Big Cam and Crymelon Tess collided soon after the start. Refueled and Chasin' Donuts collided approaching the first turn. Big Cam and Crymelon Tess collided on the first turn checking Big Cam. Refueled, Chasin' Donuts and Crymelon Tess approaching the home turn. Refueled and Chasin' Donuts collided on the home turn and entering the home straight. Crymelon Tess marred Chasin' Donuts in the home straight. Chasin' Donuts and Crymelon Tess collided approaching the winning post.
Crymelon Tess underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right wrist and back muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Connell, the trainer of Crymelon Tess regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Crymelon Tess was charged with marring. Mr. Connell pleaded guilty to the charge, Crymelon Tess is suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race sample was taken from Lady Fabio, winner of the event.
