Steward's Report
Cullquin Elijah – Late scratching at 11.31am due to non-arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Ms Shara Quinlan informed Stewards that she had a vehicle breakdown on-route to the track. Stewards have advised Ms Quinlan that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 48 hours of the occurrence that caused the non-arrival. The matter will be re-evaluated upon receipt of this evidence.
A pre-race sample was taken from Text Me Later.
Krisbar Immy shifted in soon after the start checking Sooky Jooky. Krisbar Immy and Go Lucy Go collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Text Me Later and Victor Leone collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight checking Text Me Later.
