Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Dundas Houdini was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr P.Dower pleaded guilty to the charge, Dundas Houdini is suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

All Inn Tyler underwent a post-race veterinary examination, no apparent injury was reported. Trainer Tony Duncan explained that the greyhound is better suited to an inside box and after being checked on the first turn it lost all winning chance. The comments of Mr Duncan were noted, and no further action was taken other than to note the greyhound’s future engagements.
