Big Bad Tom went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.
Big Bad Tom and Sahara collided soon after the start. Kallara Tipene crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Special Bomb. Badoota Girl galloped on the heels of Mr. Cosmic approaching the first turn. Badoota Girl and Sahara collided in the home straight checking Badoota Girl. Mr. Cosmic checked off Badoota Girl in the home straight.
Kallara Tipene was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds on all four paws and injuries to the right tricep and left thigh. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
