Scissor King checked off Tekidanto approaching the first turn.
Scissor King raced wide entering the home straight.
Lady Gotham turned its head and visibly eased approaching the winning post.
Lady Gotham underwent a post-race veterinary examination was re-examined following race 9. Lady Gotham was found to have a right calf injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr S Lithgow, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Lady Gotham was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Lithgow pleaded guilty to the charge, Lady Gotham must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
