Apple Valley underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury and abrasions to the right hindleg. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Miss S Quinlan, the trainer of Apple Valley regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Apple Valley was charged with marring. Miss Quinlan pleaded guilty to the charge, Apple Valley is suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

She's The Bomb - Late scratching at 8:51am due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Simmons, Maddox Bale and Vacant Block collided soon after the start checking Maddox Bale. Cullquin Finn checked off Don's Boy on the first turn. Don's Boy raced wide entering the home straight. Tough Dude raced wide entering the home straight. Maddox Bale checked off Simmons in the home straight.

Tough Dude underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 5. Tough Dude was found to have a right hip injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Last Night, Crymelon Tess and Tex Ribs collided approaching the first turn checking all 3 greyhounds. Crymelon Tess and Stray Cat collided entering the home straight. Oriental Pins and Blazing Zeal collided entering the home straight and severeal times in the home straight.

Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Lady Gotham was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Lithgow pleaded guilty to the charge, Lady Gotham must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
