Zoe's All and Uzzi Bale were slow to begin.
Clovalley Mauri checked off Mi Roma on the first turn. Hillbilly Boy and Uzzi Bale collided on the first turn checking Hillbilly Boy.
Clovalley Mauri underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the left back muscle and an abrasion to the left hind toe. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Uzzi Bale - the winner of the event.
