Rattle Can You and Dyna Carl were slow to begin.
Dyna Carl checked off Tiggerlong Back soon afte the start. All Inn Abby and Gasoline collided on the first turn checking Gasoline. Tiggerlong Al and All Inn Abby collided on the home turn. Rattle Can You and Gasoline collided on the home turn.
Rattle You Can underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right side lumbo-sacral. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Post-race samples were taken from Kat's Jerry and All Inn Redman - the (deadheat) winners of the event.
