Steward's Report

All Inn Jess, Pure Maganda and Jodie Cambaz were slow to begin.  Give Surf Away, Zacariah, Slipaway Cool and Pure Maganda collided soon after the start checking Slipaway Cool.  Gave Surf Away, Bo Peep Flyer and Pure Maganda collided on the first turn checking Bo Peep Flyer.  Gave Surf Away and Slipaway Cool collided approaching the home turn checking Slipaway Cool.  Gave Surf Away and Pure Maganda collided approaching the home turn checking Pure Maganda.  Slipaway Cool eased in the home straight and collided with Gave Surf Away.

Slipaway Cool was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's left shoulder and a torn left stopper.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. K. Quinn, the trainer of the greyhound Slipaway Cool.  Stewards deemed the performance of Slipaway Cool unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Slipaway Cool must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
