Gringo Grange was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's right thigh.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Arogon Lad was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Holly Size was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 10, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's left hock.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(5), the stewards charged Holly Size with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(6),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Vintner was slow to begin.  Shiraz Reef, Kadina Wonder and Clovalley Wes collided soon after the start.  Miss Domino, Crymelon Talon, Perfect Nina and Lace Out collided soon after the start checking Crymelon Talon and Perfect Nina.  Miss Domino and Lace Out collided approaching the first turn checking Miss Domino.  Shiraz Reef, Lace Out and Vintner collided on the first turn checking Miss Domino.  Vintner and Lace Out collided on the first turn checking Crymelon Talon and severely checking Lace Out, Miss Domino, Perfect Nina and Kadina Wonder.  Shiraz Reef raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Sanctified was slow to begin.  China Ash and Moonlite Spice collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking Moonlite Spice and Arvo's Stefan.  Sanctified and Tim Tam Tim collided on the first turn.  Moonlite Spice and Arvo's Stefan collided approaching the home turn checking Moonlite Spice and Hill Top Sam.

Slipaway Cool was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's left shoulder and a torn left stopper.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. K. Quinn, the trainer of the greyhound Slipaway Cool.  Stewards deemed the performance of Slipaway Cool unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Slipaway Cool must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
