Absolute Leeder, Transformosa, Charlie Boots and Stock Exchange collided soon after the start checking Stock Exchange, Charlie Boots and Transformosa.  Black Amarina and Arvo's Ace collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking Black Amarina.  Arogon Lad, Holly Size and Absolute Leeder collided on the first turn checking Holly Size.  Holly Size, Charlie Boots, Transformosa and Arvo's Ace collided on the first turn checking Arvo's Ace and Black Amarina.  Arvo's Ace checked off Transformosa approaching the home turn.  Charlie Boots and Absolute Leeder collided entering the home straight.  Holly Size eased in the home straight.  Charlie Boots, Absolute Leeder and Holly Size collided approaching the winning post.

Arogon Lad was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Holly Size was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 10, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's left hock.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(5), the stewards charged Holly Size with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury) and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(6),  before any future nomination will be accepted.
