Twobeeyou checked off Northern Emma approaching the home turn checking Twobeeyou and Allen Contra. Flippin' Good galloped on the heels of Twobeeyou approaching the home turn checking Flippn' Good and severely checking Twobeeyou which tailed off as a result. Allen Contra and King Mogambo collided approaching the home turn. Bandsaw and Spring Pebbles collided approaching the home turn checking Bandsaw. Flippin' Good and King Mogambo collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.

Twobeeyou was vetted and after being re-vetted following event four, it was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both triceps and quadriceps, a 21day stand down period was imposed.

Aces High was a late scratching at 18:41 due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer D. Williams was fined the sum of $100.

Madiba Magic was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds, injuries to right quadriceps and right hock area, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

So Confused and Century Time collided soon after the start checking So Confused. Mini Mitch, Hot Thomeli and Blue Lavros collided approaching the first turn checking Hot Thomeli. Hot Thomeli and Blue Lavros collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Blue Lavros checked off Hot Thomeli approaching the home turn. Mini Mitch and Blue Lavros collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds. So Confused crossed to the running rail in the home straight checking Mini Mitch and Blue Lavros.

Stewards spoke to registered person Renee New and fined her $50 under (GAR48) for failing to fulfil her catching engagement for the greyhound So Confused. In assessing the penalty Stewards took into account Ms New's previous record.

Lively Laddie and Dynamic Punch were slow to begin.

Reverend Matchy and Thunder Rail collided approaching the first turn checking Thunder Rail. Thunder Rail made contact with the running rail on the first turn and lost ground. Yodeller checked off Dinosoul approaching the home turn. Lively Laddie checked off Yodeller approaching the home turn. Dynamic Punch checked off Reverend Matchy approaching the home turn.

Thunder Rail was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left quadriceps and hock, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Peggie and Shanlyn Flossy were slow to begin.

Went Wooshka checked off Smart Maxwell on the first turn. Galloping Rocky and Shanlyn Flossy collided approaching the home turn. Shanlyn Flossy checked off Peggie in the home straight. Dyna Suzie and Mechatronic collided approaching the winning post.

Actually Frank and Immy Rose collided approaching the third turn.  Clumsy Tank and Sea Rooster collided several times approaching the home turn resulting in Clumsy Tank becoming unbalanced. Nev and Actually Frank collided entering the home straight. Sea Rooster veered out and marred the running of Clumsy Tank entering the home straight.

Sea Rooster was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr S. Gibson, the trainer of the greyhound Sea Rooster. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Sea Rooster with marring and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at Ballarat and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Sisco Rage - the winner of the event returned a track record time of 37.60.  A sample was taken from Sisco Rage.
