Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr S. Jack regarding the scratchings of Aurora Miss and Fifty Dollar while Folding Green remained in the field. Stewards noted the explanation for the scratchings. A 10 day stand down period was imposed for both greyhounds.
Run Fast Bonnie was quick to begin.
Croucher checked off Sizzlin' Sanchez approaching the first turn. Cawbourne Dolly and Sizzlin' Sanchez collided on the first turn severely checking Sizzlin' Sanchez, in turn, checking De Belin; Sizzlin' Sanchez lost ground as a result. De Belin and Folding Green collided on the first turn checking De Belin. Folding Green checked off Cawbourne Dolly entering the home straight.
Sizzlin' Sanchez underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
A post-race sample was taken from Run Fast Bonnie - the winner of the event.
