Steward's Report
During the routine track inspection prior to kennelling, Stewards noted that the lure cable had detached from the pulley. Club and GRV staff conducted remedial work during kennelling and tested the lure prior to the running of Race 1. Stewards and club staff were satisfied that the lure was in a suitable condition for racing and continued to monitor the lure throughout the meeting.
Dezzy Driver – New declared the weight of 23.4kgs, last raced at 21.8kgs due to change of trainer.
What Feeling was very slow to begin (3L).
Riverdale Tuohy checked off Birmingham Lass soon after the start and collided with Crown Nikki as a result. Riverdale Tuohy checked off Crown Nikki approaching the first turn. Crown Nikki and Maybe Hostile raced wide on the home turn.
