Houdini Oz,  Stinga Love and Carlanna Coyote collided soon after the start checking Stinga Love. Bunnerong Lass and Houdin Oz collided approaching the first turn checking Houdini Oz, Carlanna Coyote and Stinga Love. Pawsative checked off Conor's Entity on the first turn severely checking Carlanna Coyote and Houdini Oz. Bunnerong Lass veered out and marred  Major Snitch in the home straight.

Bunnerong Lass was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left shoulder, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Lacy, the trainer of the greyhound Bunnergong Lass. Acting under GAR69(1) stewards charged Bunnerong Lass with marring and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at Ballarat and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all Tracks), pursuant to GAR69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Santa crossed to the rails soon after the start checking Marlow Flight, Grumble's Tomato, Whirly Drill and  Impressive Scull. Whirly Drill and Riverdale Ellie collided approaching the first turn checking Riverdale Ellie. Santa stumbled on the first turn and lost ground as a result. Riverdale Ellie galloped on the heels of Stinga Honey approaching the home turn, checking both greyhound. Impressive Scull and Whirly Drill collided approaching the home turn. Riverdale Ellie and Whirly Drill collided entering the home straight checking Whirly Drill who raced wide as a result.

Lord Kalidor was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right thigh, a 10 day stand down penalty was imposed.

Whirly Drill was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left thight, a 10 day stand down penalty was imposed.

Sanata was vetted and after being revetted following event 4, it was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

My Daddy Alf, Red Cry and Black As Night collided soon after the start checking My Daddy Alf and Black As Night. My Daddy Alf and Don's Chili collided approaching the first turn severely checking Don's Chili which faltered and pulled up as a result. Red Cry checked off Ronbar Ron on the first turn. My Daddy Alf and Red Cry collided approaching the home turn checking My Daddy Alf.

Black As Night was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left shoulder, a 10 day stand down penalty was imposed.

Don's Chili was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left shoulder and right thigh a 14 day stand down penalty was imposed.

Bayah Winslow checked off Bernmar Percy approaching the first turn. Dashing Winslow, Stinga Rebel and Regal Ensign collided approaching the first turn. Stinga Rebel and Regal Ensign collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.

White Gold and Lil Pezza Dee collided soon after the start checking White Gold. White Gold galloped on the heels of Sixteen Candles approaching the first turn severely checking Sixteen Candles and White Gold. White Gold faltered on the first turn and tailed off as a result.  Prince Euphoria, Wally Enlim and Lil Pezza Dee collided on the first turn checking Lil Pezza Dee. Wally Enlim and Common Tells collided approaching the home turn checking Wally Enlim. Sixteen Candles raced wide on the home turn.

Sixteen Candles was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right wrist, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

White Gold was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left knee, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Apatchy Bro was a late scratching at 4.23p.m. on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Shiraz Rose, Pyrenees Grand and Speedy In Oz collided approaching the first turn checking Pyrenees Grand. Shiraz Reef checked off Starosta on the first turn. Lace Out and Pyrenees Grand collided in the home straight. Naomi Rose raced wide in the home straight.

Razor Hawk, Maori Winslow and Absolute Leeder collided soon after the start checking Maori Winslow. Kristingee checked off Superior Ashlee approaching the first turn. Goofy Snout and Bibby's Bella collided soon after the start. Goofy Snout checked off Bibby's Bella approaching the first turn. Stewards spoke to R. Proctor (trainer) regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Winslow Warrior. Stewards directed that Winslow Warrior be boxed first in future events.

Belle' Tiny, Quilty and From Davine were slow to begin.

Minority severely checked off Quilty on the first turn checking Belle's Tiny and From Davine. Optimiste checked off Phil Mieski on the first turn checking Just Like Jetta and Optimiste fell as a result. Minority, Belle's Tiny and From Davine collided approaching the home turn. Phil Mieski checked off Quilty approaching the home turn.

Optimiste was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Satisfactory Trial Results- Carryon Earning trialled over the 390m from box 1, weight 26.2kg, the greyhound was placed 2nd, in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.42, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of half a length. Carryon Earning was cleared.

Stewards were notified that the track was harrowed on Thursday 17th January.
