Steward's Report
Razor Roy was quick to begin. Stigmatize was slow to begin.
Razor Roy crossed to the outside soon after the start and collided with Leprechaun Tink, Making Gravy and Big Little Sis. Inter Vince and Italia Bella collided approaching the 300m mark checking Split Pea. Stigmatize and Inter Vince collided at the 250m mark. Inter Vince veered out towards Making Gravy and visibly eased at the 100m mark and again visibly eased approaching the winning post. Razor Roy and Big Little Sis collided approaching the winning post checking both greyhounds.
Inter Vince underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left flexor tendon injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to the trainer, Mr Joe Interligi, regarding the greyhound's racing manners at 100m mark and again approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Inter Vince was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Interligi pleaded guilty to the charge, Inter Vince must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
