Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Tezzalenko.
Aston Klara was slow to begin.
Rellim Diesel and Roger That collided approaching the first turn. Cloncurry Girl checked off Roger That on the first turn and collided with Aston Klara, checking Wolfie's Sook. Supa Shalala shifted out and turned its head in the home straight and collided with Jessie's Star, checking Jessie's Star. Aston Klara, Supa Shalala and Jessie's Star collided approaching the winning post.
Super Shalala underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the left front foot. No stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Ms Elaine Delios, the representative for Supa Shalala regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Supa Shalala was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment in the home straight. Ms Delios pleaded not guilty to the charge, Supa Shalala was found guilty and suspended for 12 months at all tracks and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(c) before any future nomination will be accepted.
