Steward's Report

Doused In Mud was quick to begin.  Spin The Trolley was slow to begin.

Sports Knight faltered approaching the first turn.  Spin The Trolley and Madam Kinlock collided approaching the third turn checking Spin The Trolley.  Spin The Trolley and Madam Kinlock collided entering the home straight.  Vis Vitae tired approaching the winning post.

Sports Knight underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Spin The Trolley underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the right foreleg wrist. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Vis Vitae underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.  Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Russell Edwards regarding the greyhound Vis Vitae tiring approaching the winning post, Mr Edwards stated that this was the greyhounds first 520m race for approximately 8 months and he was trying to get the greyhound to race over the longer distances.
