Stewards spoke to Mr K. Mugavin, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the finishing line. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Spring Classic was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Mugavin pleaded guilty to the charge, Spring Classic must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Aron Allen underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hindleg quadriceps injury. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards conducted a check of all catcher’s licences in accordance with LR 16.2 for the night, all were compliant.
