Weeona Gina and Spring Nugget collided soon after the start checking Weeona Gina and Aston Reine. Weeona Gina and Spring Nugget collided at the 250m mark checking Spring Nugget, Aston Reine and Diamond Bling, severely checking Weeona Gina. Challis Sprite checked off Aston Reine at the 150m mark. Challis Sprite, Soho Girl and High Kings collided at the 100m mark. Spring Nugget and Soho Girl collided approaching the winning post.
