Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr D. Batten, regarding the greyhounds racing manners at the 50m mark. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Beryl Cheryl was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Batten pleaded guilty to the charge, Beryl Cheryl must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Red Yannick underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left deltoid injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr G. Howell, the trainer of Red Yannick, regarding the greyhounds racing manners over the concluding stages of the event. After viewing the head on video footage and taking into consideration the interference the greyhound received, Stewards issued a warning to Red Yannick regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post.
