Steward's Report
Parumba Barty was quick to begin. Bird House Brown was slow to begin.
He's Ali and Act On Impulse collided soon after the start. Yellowtail Bear and Bird House Brown collided soon after the start. Parumba Barty and Battle Symphony collided soon after the start. He's Ali marred Battle Symphony approaching the second turn checking Bird House Brown, severely checking Parumba Barty and Battle Symphony; He's Ali fell as a result. Act On Impulse and Yellowtail Bear collided in the back straight.
He's Ali underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left hock, left wrist and left pencil muscle. A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative Mr P. Riley regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the second turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) He's Ali was charged with marring. Mr Riley pleaded guilty to the charge, He's Ali is suspended for 28 days at Sandown only and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race sample was taken from Yellowtail Bear - the winner of the event.
