Your Queen crossed to the outside at the 300m mark and checked off Mad Eye Madam. Admiral Arby crossed to the outside at the 300m mark. Parabellum and Skinny Legend collided approaching the 50m mark checking Skinny Legend. Skinny Legend and Thunderbolt Jack collided approaching the winning post.

The Stewards opened and finalised an inquiry into the late scratching of Carpark Affair at 4:22pm on Saturday 16/11/19, a short time after scratching's closed. After hearing submissions, Mr J. Boreland acknowledged he had not checked the greyhound prior to straching time, however, pleaded not guilty to an offence under GAR 23 (1) (a) for failing to examine Carpark Affair prior to the close of scratchings to ensure it was free of illness or injury. A fine of $200 was issued with $100 suspended for 6 months.

Nowhere Nathe – Late scratching at 5:52am when Mr J. Boreland reported the greyhound to have an illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Next Challenge and Rain Dance were slow to begin.

Rio Dixie and Little Danish collided soon after the start. Little Danish and Rain Dance collided at the 250m mark. Next Challenge and Rio Dixie collided several times from approaching the 200m mark to the 150m mark checking Next Challenge and severely checking Rio Dixie which stumbled. Stewards spoke to Mr Peter Reinders, the Handler of Sonic Lauryn and issued him with a warning after he failed to obey the starters directions when boxing his greyhound in this event, pursuant to GAR 51(10).

Stewards spoke to trainer Mr John Boreland, regarding the circumstances surrounding the late scratching of Nowhere Nathe in this event. Mr Boreland stated that he discovered the greyhound had severe diarrhoea early this morning and was subsequently withdrawn. Stewards accepted Mr Boreland's explanation and took no further action.

Pookie Smurf was slow to begin.

Uncle Rico and Percy's Diva collided soon after the start. Cheeky Chimp crossed to the outside at the 250m mark. Percy's Diva faltered at the 250m mark and tailed off. Super Panda and Wet And Wild collided approaching the 200m mark and again at the 200m mark checking Wet And Wild.

Percy's Diva underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Murrabit Benny, Miss Pepperjack, Cozi Fitz and Spring Shower collided soon after the start checking Murrabit Benny, Miss Pepperjack and Cozi Fitz. Superior Charry and Golden Fernanda collided at the 200m mark. Golden Fernanda checked off Auggie approaching the 150m mark.

Atlas Shiralee and Annaley Flash collided soon after the start. Lightning Beach and Mepunga Doyle collided soon after the start. Atlas Shiralee and Annaley Flash collided approaching the 250m mark checking Annaley Flash. Ted's Dream and Mepunga Doyle collided approaching the 150m mark. Big Boy Paddy crossed to the rail approaching the 150m mark checking Ted's Dream, Mepunga Doyle and Big Boy Paddy.

Big Boy Paddy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have soreness to the pelvis and the right hip. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr K. Lancaster, the trainer of Big Boy Paddy and issued a warning regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the 150m mark.

Tibby Shore – Late scratching at 10:29am due to non-arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Mr G. Micallef informed Stewards that he had a vehicle breakdown on-route to the track. Stewards have advised Mr Micallef that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 48 hours of the occurrence that caused the non-arrival. The matter will be re-evaluated upon receipt of this evidence. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Superior Briz.

Superior Briz and Superior Bont were slow to begin.

Stewards spoke to kennel representative Mr Douglas Condon, regarding the circumstances surrounding the scratching of Superior Faith in this event. Mr Condon stated that the greyhound was suffering from diarrheoa on Saturday 16 November and was subsequently withdrawn. Kennel mate Wave Collision, who was also suffering from diarrheoa was withdrawn from Race 1.

Flying Moss was slow to begin.

Buck The Jockey and Bruce's Back collided at the 300m mark. Demolisher, Bruce's Back and Crickets Dash collided at the 150m mark.

Mr W. Boreland was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound Worthy Prince pursuant to GAR 33.

Worthy Prince and Superior Power were slow to begin.

No Room, Maximum Capers and Canowindra collided at the 250m mark checking No Room. No Room checked off Mist approaching the 200m mark and collided with Worthy Prince.

Superior Sam stumbled at box rise and was slow to begin.

Wazza Hawk and Haboob collided at the 250m mark. Winlock Homes and Cullquin Panda collided at the 125m mark. Superior Sam and Winlock Homes collided approaching the winning post.

Haboob underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left pencil muscle and the left triangle. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Bugs Boloney underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right wrist, the right shoulder and the right quadriceps. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

This event was delayed by approximately 2 minutes due to a Shepparton Harness race running behind time.
