Crown Armani and Maverick Rosa collided approaching the first turn.  Ignite The Stars checked off Encantador approaching the first turn.  Akina Indie checked off Crown Armani on the first turn causing Akina Indie to race wide.  Encantador visibly eased turned its head and raced wide on the first turn causing Maverick Rosa to race wide.  Hint Of Magic and Aaron's Me Boy collided approaching the home turn checking Hint Of Magic and causing both greyhounds to race wide.  Encantador veered out and marred Maverick Rose on the home turn and again in the home straight.  Encantador, Akina Indie and Maverick Rose raced wide in the home straight. 

Encantador underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no appaprent injury was reported. Mr Wagenaar declined a re-vet.

Stewards spoke to Mr R. Wagenaar, the trainer of Encantador regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Encantador was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Wagenaar pleaded guilty to the charge, Encantador is suspended for 28 days at Cranbourne and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Begonia Bale was quick to begin.  Big Bro Zesta, Jumping Breen and Natsu Bale were slow to begin. 

Kiwi Hustler and Rodrigo Bale collided soon after the start checking Kiwi Hustler, Natsu Bale and Big Bro Zesta.  Rodrigo Bale checked off Two Metre Peter on the first turn.  Big Bro Zesta checked off Natsu Bale on the first turn.  Jagora Bale and Two Metre Peter collided entering the home straight.  

Mystic Jaguar and Akina Spot were quick to begin.

My Girl Mel checked off Akina Spot soon after the start.  Lennie's Flyer checked off My Girl Mel soon after the start.  Shifty and My Girl Mel collided on the first turn.  

Rose Mikado was quick to begin.

Mr. Medico and Taya Bale collided soon after the start.  Taya Bale clipped the heels of Casanova Man approaching the first turn.  Rose Mikado and According collided approaching the first turn, on the first turn and approaching the second turn.  Rose Mikado galloped on According entering the back straight checking both greyhounds.  According contacted the running rail on the third turn.  Taya Bale and According collided approaching the home turn.  

According underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Ragnar Bale, Akina Archer and Staggerism collided soon after the start.  Ragnar Bale checked off Akina Archer approaching the first turn.  Baby Shark and Staggerism collided approaching the first turn checking Baby Shark.  Akina Archer raced wide on the first turn.  Big Bash Healy and Princess Pulse collided approaching the second turn and again on the second turn.  Akina Archer and Staggerism collided in the back straight.  Ragnar Bale and Princess Pulse collided on the third turn.  Big Bash Healy visibly eased and turned its head on the third turn, approaching the home turn, on the home turn and collided with Whispy Bale.  Big Bash Healy turned its head again entering the home straight and approaching the winning post.

Big Bash Healy underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Mr Willcocks declined a re-vet.

Sky Wesley crossed in soon after the start checking Wears Woodleigh, Yelredda Saint and severely checking Doc's Reward.  Doc's Reward contacted the running rail approaching the first turn.  Oxley One crossed in on the first turn checking I'm The Poppet, Bush Song, Wears Woodleigh, Yelredda Saint and severely checking Sky Wesley, causing Wears Woodleigh, Bush Song and I'm The Poppet to race wide.  Doc's Reward checked off Sky Wesley approaching the second turn.  Wears Woodleigh and Sky Wesley collided on the second turn checking Sky Wesley.  I'm The Poppet raced wide in the back straight.  

Doc's Reward underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle injury and an abrasion to the left hind foot.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Over Talking underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Matilda Mikado was quick to begin.  Curiouser and Bejarno were slow to begin and collided soon after the start checking Bejarano.  Matilda Mikado, Lightwood Lass and Ishmy Lady collided approaching the first turn checking Matilda Mikado and Lightwood Lass.  Matilda Mikado and Curiouser collided on the first turn checking Matilda Mikado, Lightwood Lass and severely checking Curiouser, causing Curiouser to race wide.  Matilda Mikado contacted the running rail approaching the second turn.  Ishmy Lady checked off Off To Monaco on the third turn.

Curiouser underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hamstring injury and an abrasion to the right foreleg.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Teardrop, Flashy De Goey, Akina Error and Dynamic Ross collided approaching the first turn checking Teardrop and Akina Error.  Teardrop and Flasy De Goey collided on the first turn checking Teardrop, Flashy De Goey and Dynamic Ross, causing Dynamic Ross to race wide.  Mates Rates galloped on Tim Tam Sam on the third turn causing Dynamic Ross to race wide.  Mates Rates and Tim Tam Sam collided approaching the home turn severely checking both greyhounds causing Tim Tam Sam to fall, Mates Rates was inconvenienced and subsequently tailed off as a result.  Flashy De Goey and Akina Error collided approaching the home turn checking Flashy De Goey.  

Mates Rates underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury and an abrasion to the left metacarpal.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr B. Sands, the trainer of Mates Rates regarding its performance approaching the home turn. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Mates Rates must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Tim Tam Sam underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have left and right wrist sprains and a left triangle injury.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Tim Tam Sam – Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 52.

Bigwig – Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 52. 

Kel Knight – Late scratching at 9.19am when Mr T. Burns reported the greyhound to have a back muscle injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
