Ellias Bale underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Montaro underwent a post race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 5.  Montaro was found to have an injured right pencil muscle and a torn nail on a left hind toe.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Meade regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the first turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Montaro was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Meade pleaded guilty to the charge, Montaro must perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Busted underwent a post race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 5.  Busted was found to have an injured left chest muscle.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Gotham Princess - late scratching at 3.03pm due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24).  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Metric Converse went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin (4 lengths).  Christo Bale was checked off Blazin' Reggie soon after the start.  Christo Bale and Blazin' Reggie collided on the home turn severely checking Blazin' Reggie.  Bag of Tricks and Carter Senor collided on the home turn.

Untainted was slow to begin.  Krisbar Immy and Kraken Pat collided soon after the start.  Buddy Blinx, El Diamonte and Krisbar Immy collided on the first turn checking Buddy Blinx, Krisbar Immy, Untainted and Kraken Pat.  Muza's Belle and Spring Nugget collided on the first turn checking Muza's Belle.  Buddy Blinx and Untainted collided approaching the home turn checking Untainted.  Buddy Blinx, Untainted and Krisbar Immy collided entering the home straight checking Buddy Blinx and Untainted.

Flashy De Goey and Hadarah Bale were slow to begin.  Black Beauty and Van Nindi collided soon after the start.  Push crossed in soon after the start.  Van Nindi, Flashy De Goey and Hadarah Bale collided on the first turn checking Flashy De Goey and Hadarah Bale.  Banga was checked off Double Supreme on the second turn.  Black Beauty and Hadarah Bale collided on the second turn checking Black Beauty.  Black Beauty was checked off Van Nindi entering the back straight.  Push, Hadarah Bale and Double Supreme collided on the home turn checking Double Supreme.

Van Nindi underwent a post race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 6.  Van Nindi was found to have an abraded stopper pad.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Ms. A. Terry the trainer of Van Nindi and issued a warning regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the second turn.  Ms. Terry was of the opinion the performance of Van Nindi was out of character and felt the greyhound may have sustained a more substantial injury in addition to the injury reported by the on-track veterinarian.  Steward's noted Ms. Terry's explanation and Acting under GAR 75 (1) Stewards ordered her to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Van Nindi in the event which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.

SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT:

As directed by Stewards, Miss Ashley Terry reported that Van Nindi had been examined by Dr Des Fegan on Wednesday 21st November 2019 where it was noted that the greyhound had sustained a severe right shoulder sprain. Dr Fegan recommended that Van Nindi be rested for 10-14 days and then be re-examined.

What's Up Skip underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Gotham Duchess was checked off Stirling Lights soon after the start.  Carpark Flame, Boombox Charlie and Zipping Hamish collided approaching the first turn checking Boombox Charlie and Zipping Hamish.  Insuperable was checked off Star Night approaching the first turn.  Gotham Duchess contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground.  Boombox Charlie and Gotham Duchess collided entering the home straight.  Carpark Flame and Zipping Hamish collided entering the home straight.  Stirling Lights and Star Night collided several times over the concluding stages of the event checking both greyhounds.

Lucky Millie, Weeona Yoshi, Bees on Fire and Bricabrac collided soon after the start.  Bricabrac was checked off May Haze on the first turn and collided with Bees On Fire.  Lucky Millie and Inter Santina collided on the home turn.  Bricabrac was checked off Bees on Fire in the home straight.

Decker was quick to begin.  Ivoria Bale and Sadarli were slow to begin.  Can't Say That, Slick Paws and Mick's Multi collided soon after the start checking Slick Paws.  Slick Paws and Mr. Medico collided approaching the first turn.  Sadarli crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Slick Paws, Mr. Medico, Ivoria Bale and Hayley's Hero.  Can't Say That was checked off Decker on the first turn.  Slick Paws was checked off Hayley's Hero on the first turn.  Sadarli galloped on Can't Say That approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Ivoria Bale, Sadarli and Mr. Medico collided on the home turn checking Sadarli, Slick Paws and Hayley's Hero.  Slick Paws visibly turned its head on the home turn and again approaching the winning post and collided with Hayley's Hero.

Slick Paws underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right sesamoid and right hip.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.   Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Boreland regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn and approaching the winning post.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Slick Paws was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Boreland pleaded guilty to the charge, Slick Paws must perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Bumble Bee Bolto was quick to begin.  Pink Tiara and Cross Threaded collided approaching the first turn severely checking Pink Tiara which stumbled and lost ground.  Cross Threaded was checked off Monster Machine on the first turn.  Monster Machine, Vitaliser, Raglan Revolver and Rose Rose collided on the first turn checking all four greyhounds.  Rose Rose and Vitaliser collided on the home turn checking Rose Rose.  Monster Machine, Cross Threaded and Pink Tiara raced wide in the home straight.

Raceday samples were taken from Break The Plate, Over Talking and Reap The Rewards during a kennel visit today by Stewards.

Shanlyn Georgie crossed in on the first turn checking Let's Roll, Everything I Do, Foxy Princess and Quillan Bale.  Everything I Do galloped on Downtown Dolly on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Foxy Princess and Early Promise collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Everything I Do and Early Promise raced wide in the home straight.
