Steward's Report
Bomber's Wonder and Weeona Yoshi were quick to begin. Rall's Girl, La Quinta Rocks and Mt. View Audrey were slow to begin. Bomber's Wonder crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Bobby Ray, Enya Bale and Rall's Girl, Enya Bale lost ground as a result. Sadarli visibly eased on the first turn severely checking Weeona Yoshi. Bobby Ray and Mt. View Audrey collided on the first turn. Mt. View Audrey was checked off Sadarli on the home turn checking Weeona Yoshi. Sadarli clipped the heels of Bomber's Wonder on the home turn. La Quinta Rocks clipped the heels of Rall's Girl entering the home straight causing La Quinta Rocks to fall, Mt. View Audrey was checked as a result. Sadarli, Bomber's Wonder and Weeona Yoshi collided approaching the winning post.
La Quinta Rocks underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left wrist and left hip. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Sadarli underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.
Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Wood the trainer of Sadarli regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Sadarli was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Wood pleaded guilty to the charge, Sadarli is suspended for 3 months at all tracks and must perform a satisfactory trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(b) before any future nomination will be accepted.
