Outrageous Ester and Take A Lily checked off Our Flying Bolt on the first turn. Tylden and Tin Can Sam collided on the first turn. Motor Ace and Pete Cabang collided on the home turn. Pete Cabang raced wide entering the home straight. Outrageous Ester and Take A Lily collided entering the home straight. Fail In Honour and Tylden collided entering the home straight. Our Flying Bolt and Fail In Honour collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.

Mr. D. Scott was issued with a warning after the greyhound Fail In Honour was negligently (GAR 86(o)) placed in the incorrect kennel following the event.

Gotta Exceed galloped on the heels of Kraken Ruben on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Gotta Exceed checked off Bilbo entering the home straight checking Lektra Bear.

Mohinga Chase and Tat James collided soon after the start. Bingo Boon and Mohinga Chase collided on the first turn. Dukey Duke raced wide entering the home straight.

Rave On was quick to begin.

Fernando's Boy checked off Totally Know soon after the start checking Fletcher Jay. Totally Know checked off Lance Link approaching the first turn. Vital Force and All Inn Redman collided entering the home straight. Fletcher Jay raced wide entering the home straight.

Fernando's Boy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

Henessey Venom, Layback Cruiser, Valhalla Girl, Take A Rose, Typhoon Tessie and Sparkle Motion collided approaching the first turn checking Henessey Venom, Layback Cruiser and Typhoon Tessie, severely checking Valhalla Girl, Take A Rose and Sparkle Motion causing all three greyhounds to fall.

Henessey Venom underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left elbow. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Valhalla Girl underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left scapula fracture. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Take A Rose underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

Sparkle Motion underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound to the right leg. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Ms L.Hellmuth the handler of Sparkle Motion regarding leaving the track without the greyhound being vetted. Stewards phoned Ms Hellmuth who returned to the track to have the greyhound vetted. Stewards also questioned Ms Hellmuth regarding her conduct following the running of the race, when leaving the starting boxes.  After taking into account, Ms Hellmuth's clear record and remorse she was issued a warning pursuant to GAR 86(o).

Following this event Stewards walked the track in the area where the greyhounds fell and deemed the track satisfactory for racing.

Classy Aussie - Late scratching at 7:29pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to dehydration. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Nimble Nala and Miss Pepperjack collided approaching the first turn checking Miss Pepperjack. All Inn Deeds checked off Sonny Micawber on the first turn. Nimble Nala and Blue Odessa collided in the home straight.
