Steward's Report
Shanlyn Charlott and Sonic Sensation were slow to begin.
Jay Bird and Shanlyn Charlott collided soon after the start checking Shanlyn Charlott. Bigwig and Mahjong Buddy collided approaching the first checking Bigwig. Black Beauty and Jay Bird collided approaching the first turn checking Black Beauty. Black Beauty, Mahjong Buddy, Off To Monaco, Sonic Sensation and Jay Bird collided on the first turn checking Shanlyn Charlott and severely checking Romeo Lad which raced wide as a result. Jay Bird brushed the rail on the second turn checking Bigwig and Black Beauty. Bigwig lost ground on the third turn. Sonic Sensation and Shanlyn Charlott collided on the home turn. Black Beauty and Jay Bird collided approaching the winning post.
Bigwig underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions on the left stifle and left tibia/ fibula. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Off To Monaco.
