Mini Yaala, Callum Ari, Over Talking and Parumba Rebel collided soon after the start checking Mini Yaala. Callum Ari crossed out on the first turn checking Over Talking and Zipping Brandy and severely checking Parumba Rebel. Mini Yaala checked off Missy Meghan on the home turn.

Shanlyn Charlott and Sonic Sensation were slow to begin.

Bigwig underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions on the left stifle and left tibia/ fibula. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Lemonade Kid was quick to begin. 

Tubark lost ground on the first turn and raced wide from the home turn to the winning post. It's A Drama raced wide in the home straight. Fernando's Boy galloped on Reap The Rewards entering the home straight.

Rock Me David  – Late scratching at 10.19am when trainer, Mr David Crawford reported the greyhound to have a hock injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Lightning Beach was slow to begin. 

Buddy Goes Bang and Jackson's River collided soon after the start. Hip Hippy Shake and Busy Bella collided soon after the start checking Busy Bella and Buddy Goes Bang; Busy Bella stumbled as a result. Jackson's River visibly eased on the first turn. Buddy Goes Bang checked off Hip Hippy Shake on the first turn. Jackson's River visibly eased on the third turn. Jackson's River checked off Hip Hippy Shake on the home turn. Lightning Beach and Crackerjack Dev collided in the home straight. 

Jackson's River underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was found. Trainer, Mr Eddie Lieshout declined the option to have the greyhound re-vetted. 

Stewards spoke to Mr Eddie Lieshout, the trainer of Jackson's River regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Jackson's River was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Lieshout pleaded guilty to the charge, Jackson's River is suspended for 28 days at Cranbourne and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Majestic Mojo – New declared weight of 30.6kgs, last raced at 29.3kgs.

Queen Of Promise was slow to begin.

Queen Of Promise underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Bearing Gold underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left calf muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Ms Alana Mammone, the representative for Bearing Gold regarding its performance on the first turn. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Bearing Gold must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Winlock Slim – Late scratching at 12.27pm when trainer, Mr Simon Mallia reported the greyhound to have a back muscle injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Dirty Stella - Late scratching at 6.08pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a left fore papilloma. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. 

Cal's Girl – New declared weight of 27.3kgs, last raced at 26.0kgs.
