Zoe's All and Better Watch Out were slow to begin.
Aston Moscato, Medina and Rosie Yaala collided soon after the start. Rosie Yaala checked off Speedy Spyro approaching the first turn. Rosie Yaala checked off Go Natalie Go on the first turn. Medina and Speedy Spyro collided on the first turn checking Speedy Spyro. Better Watch Out crossed in on the second turn checking Medina. Aston Moscato checked off Zoe's All on the second turn. Go Natalie Go checked off Aston Moscato entering the back straight. Speedy Spyro and Zoe's All collided on the third turn checking Speedy Spyro. Aston Moscato and Zoe's All collided on the home turn checking Zoe's All. Meehan Buzz raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight. Speedy Spyro lost ground in the home straight.
Speedy Spyro underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injuries to the left pectoral muscle and left abductor muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
