Steward's Report
Sizzling Sam and Vegas Rules were quick to begin. Legendary Lad was slow to begin.
Silken and Nine To Seven collided soon after the start. Happy Hannah and Fernando Bluey collided soon after the start checking Happy Hannah. Silken, Nine To Seven and Fernando Bluey collided approaching the first turn checking Silken and Nine To Seven. Happy Hannah contacted the running rail approaching the first turn and subsequently fell. Indian Shadow and Fernando Bluey collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds; Indian Shadow raced wide as a result. Sizzling Sam and Silken collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Nine To Seven and Sizzling Sam collided on the second turn severely checking both greyhounds. Indian Shadow checked off Vegas Rules on the home turn.
Happy Hannah underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an injury to the right hamstring. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
